A:
You will need to set up a PayPal account first to get paid when you sell a song. We recommed to set up a Micro Payment account, micropayments.paypal-labs.com Once the account is set up then set up your GospelsAliveMusic account using the email you set up pay pal with.

Q: Can I specify where a track is downloaded?
A: Once you have purchased the tracks they will be available for download. Highlight the track that you would like to download and click the "Download Purchased Track" button. A dialog box may appear that allows you to select a folder on your hard drive where you would like your song saved.

It is possible, however, that your browser will automatically save the song to your "My Music" folder or your default media player's library folder. You can always move the song to another folder once it has successfully downloaded.

Q: How do I find the tracks that I downloaded?
A: If you have purchased the track, the entire line that the track is on is italicized in the store. If you do not remember where you saved it on your hard drive, follow the steps listed here to locate it.

You will have one final opportunity to review your order and then simply click "Place Order" to purchase the song and initiate the download process.

Check your Recycle Bin/Trash

Another place to look for errant music files is in your Recycle Bin (Windows) or the Trash (Mac). Hey, you never know! If you find them there, just right-click on them and click “Restore,” or just drag and drop them in your music folder.

Those music files still elusive?

If you have a backup, you may use that to replace your songs. If a backup is not available, the music may be lost, in which case you would need to purchase replacement music.

We suggest that you backup your music (as you do with your documents) to prevent this regrettable situation from happening.

Q:What do I do if a track I purchased did not download successfully?
A: If your GA Music account is setup with a payment method through a PayPal account, we first suggest that you log in to your PayPal account (www.paypal.com) and check in the History tab to confirm that you have been charged for the transaction. If you do not see the charge in your Purchase History, your purchase did not go through. You will need to click "Check Out" again to purchase the song.

If you have been charged for the purchase, then follow the instructions above to see if you can locate the downloaded music on your computer.

If you still cannot find your tracks on your computer, or if your download has timed out:

  1. Go to http://www.gospelsalive.com and enter your Music Buyer account login details.
  2. If you have a Consumer account and an Artist account, click on the Consumer account button.
  3. Click on the "Transaction History" button (on the left side of the page).
  4. Click on the name of a track to download it again! If your browser asks you if you would like to open the file or save to disk, make sure to select "save to disk."
